Geghard village is not known as much as Geghard monastery.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the monastery complex was founded in the 4th century by Gegory the Illuminator. In the main chapel, built in 1215, we find two lions attacking an ox, symbolizing the prince's power.

The client requested a calligraphic representation of the family members that is placed beside the two lions.
