For Armenians the pomegranate is one of the most recognizable symbols. In Armenian mythology it symbolizes fertility and good fortune. It is considered the guardian against the evil eye.

This piece, offered to one of Momig Design's founding members sister's wedding, has three critical element of a union: transparency, interconnectivity (represensented by the complex knitting), and fertility.

Tuff is a type of rock made of volcanic ash ejected from a vent during a volcanic eruption. Glass, made from liquid sand. Under extreme heat, the tuff becomes glass.
